My name is Jenny. I decided to start Star Pets because of the experiences I have had with my own dog, Lily-Rose. We started her career when a local photography studio invited her to be a new model for them. They were starting a new studio that was dog friendly and fronted by their own dog Tilly. Lily's image is used on their marketing materials as well as being used as a giant poster when they are on the road. After her studio session I realised Lily enjoyed being in front of the camera and having a lot of fuss.

We then went for an audition for Lily to be a model at a dog fashion show. She wowed the judges and was asked to attend the show. 

After this we applied to go onto a new channel 4 gameshow for dogs. We went through 3 rounds of auditions. And we got through. 

Like so many other people I found that I was finding more work for Lily through adverts and auditions rather than through the big agents. So many of these big name agents don't really push for animal talent and others that do charge for membership. I wanted to start something that I would be happy with myself. I will strive to put all the animals forward not just ones that have become well known. All animals are beautiful and we all should have the chance to show them off.
